TUPELO - A Tupelo man was arrested by the state Attorney General's Office on accusations he owes more than $12,000 in child support.

Authorities are continuing to search for two men wanted in connection with the stabbing of a Franklin County man.Franklin County Sheriff Larry Plott said officers from six agencies worked into the early hours Wednesday trying to develop leads into the stabbing that took place Tuesday outside a residence on U.S. 43.

Law enforcement are looking for two men who stabbed a Franklin County man Tuesday morning, officials said.Franklin County Sheriff Larry Plott said his department along with other area agencies are looking for the suspects in the stabbing that took place just before noon at a residence on U.S. 43, north of the Franklin-Marion county line.

ABERDEEN - No release on bond was U.S. Magistrate Jerry Davis' answer to Marie Salts' request Friday. Salts and her attorney, Jim Waide of Tupelo, appeared in U.S. District Court, asking that she be released on bond because she doesn't have a "suitable" relative to care for her 10-year-old son.

TUPELO - Police have three men in custody in connection with an alleged Thursday morning kidnapping of a man held for ransom. Tupelo Police Investigator Capt. Bart Aguirre confirmed Tarus Wofford, 32, of Woodland, Jimmy Crowley, 51, of Mantee and Windell Cousin of Fulton are charged with kidnapping.
